I would never consider buying one if I thought this dealt with all iMacs. This was neither my intention to insinuate – nor my opinion.
But as you do say, Apple has numerous issues with customer service. And they are not going to get less publicity by continuing this attitude because, as indicated by JooJoo, there *are* alternatives.
But I fully agree. I love Apple’s idea, but I expect them to acknowledge errors when they happen. That would make Apple users a happier bunch of people.

PS: With one Macbook and four iPods – and potentially one iPad for me when it is opened up for the Danish market, we *are* paying customers also.
